This is in St. Peter's square in the Vatican, the heart of Christendom on Earth. In the foreground is St.Paul*(thanks), but if you look in the background, the saints line the upper outer rim of the square. And who among the Church triumphant was to stand at Christ's left directly above the entrance to St. Peter's Basilica?.... oh, snap son, St. Andrew, holla at yo' boy!
This statue of St. Andrew is from the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome, which myself, Andy B. (Chat), Besh, and Mark visited this past summer. Holla at yo' boy!

Don't worry, I'll just exchange the slippers I bought you for Christmas for a much, much larger size. Sounds like you might need them. Hope you made your name-sake proud on his Feast Day!
Actually, I think being the first Apostle called by Jesus does carry some extra weight. It took courage to say yes to Jesus as the first one. You, young lad, are doing no dis-service to your patron Saint.

Just a note re your top photo from St. Peter's Square (I really like it by the way): It's not St. Peter in the foreground, it's St. Paul. You can tell because he is holding a sword (the instrument of his death). If it were St. Peter, he would be holding a cross--he was crucified (upside down).
