During the Bush administration, President Bush was heralded as a great humanitarian on the continent of Africa because no longer did Africans have to kill their unborn children to receive U.S. funding for health care as they had to under Clinton. Yesterday, in a 'quiet' proclamation from the White House, our taxes have been made available to be spent on abortions around the world.
Clearly, the time of change has come. Due to the majority of voters, and the majority of Catholic voters in our country, we are now funding with taxes the killing of the innocent on a grander scale.
If such a 'quiet' and disastrously destructive decision can be made by one man in the first week of his administration, just imagine the endless possibilities of four years of such decisions.
Quote of the day:
A ruling intelligentsia, whether in Europe, Asia or Africa, treats the masses as raw material to be experimented on, processed, and wasted at will.

most likely Obama, like Clinton, will be voted in for a second term.
I've got contact info for the whitehouse on my latest blogpost. The link is to send an email through the American Family Association. Maybe if we bombard the email and phonelines for the next several months, somebody will get the message.
However, the hope is that one day, the people will wake up to all this no-sense garbage. We must pray that day comes swiftly.

God have mercy on him, and on us all.
Well put Andy. Although, unfortunately, not that surprising.
On a less serious scale, Pres. Obama is now seeking exemptions from his own rules. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090122/ap_on_go_co/pentagon_nomination;_ylt=ApGLNyRzdkQJuhUYs.lsZbxp24cA) Why bother putting a rule in place if you're going to just seek an exception from it later that week? I'm sure the answer doesn't have "hope" or "change" in it. Again, not surprising.
