The Grand old Duke of York

The grand old Duke of York,
He had ten thousand men;
He marched them up to the top of the hill,
And he marched them down again.

And when they were up, they were up,
And when they were down, they were down,
And when they were only half-way up,
They were neither up nor down.

What?

Is there a liquid influence in this post?

No...unless you include hot apple cider....with some whiskey.

It's a commentary on the troop 'surge' B.O. mandated this week.

I could have sworn he denounced the last troop surge as ineffective?

Oh well, at least he can make decisions (that he preveiously had thought out and even announced in public what his intentions were) with swift decisiveness.

How many of our troops lost their lives over there while he was thinking it over?

Quite true. I think its obvious from his body language and the disparity between what he has said to this point and his 'strategy' now that this president has no idea whatsoever how to command. I guess you can't achieve *everything* you want to do with bowing and weakness...
